A commonly recommended bot is one that allows the customer to generate their own leads based on predefined processes within the bot.
The lead generation process is based on an interface that creates a lead in the customer’s CRM.
Business Process Specification
To generate a lead, it is essential to outline the business process and consider the following points:
- When do we want to generate a lead?
- For which process?
- What details do we want to transfer?
- Is there any dependency on a prior identification process, and if so, what is it?
The lead creation interface should support the answers to these questions.
Important Points
A lead can be created by defining a dedicated process in the bot, for example, a ‘Call me back’ option in the menu. In this menu, we will request several inputs necessary to create the lead.
Another option is to create a lead when an end customer does not go through an authentication process (via the authentication interface), so it can be inferred that such a customer can be treated as a lead.
Additionally, CommBox offers the option to connect to existing CRMs (CRM Connector), which can facilitate integration with the CRM.
The lead will be created in the customer’s CRM, as the lead generation takes place within the customer’s systems.
It is important to ensure that all relevant fields are customized to the requirements in the CRM, and to pay attention to the TYPE of values defined in the CRM.
